The Janesville Parker High gymnastics team is on a roll.

The Vikings topped the 140-point mark for the second straight meet, downing visiting Milton, 140.275-127.20, in a nonconference meet Tuesday night.

Parker set a school record Saturday by earning 140.2 points at the Falcon Invitational. The Vikings broke that mark Tuesday.

“The more important thing is our consistency,” Parker coach Cathy Lehmann said. “That’s back-to-back meets we’ve reach 140 points.

“We have a lot of people who are contributing,” Lehmann said. “It’s just not one or two.”

Freshman Rylee Jonuska won her first all-around title of the season. She finished first in the vault (9.15) and balance beam (9.025), which contributed to a 35.75 all-around score.

Parker’s Erika Whitson was first in the uneven bars (8.85) and floor exercise (35.75), which helped her finish second in the all-around (35.6).

Freshman Hailey Leisten was second in the uneven bars and balance beam, and she finished third in the all-around.

“I’m proud of the progress we’re making,” Lehmann said.

The Vikings, 5-0 in dual meets, return to Big Eight Conference action Thursday at home against Madison West. The meet begins at 6 p.m.
