— UW-Whitewater pounded visiting Edgewood College 91-63 for its sixth straight victory in nonconference women’s basketball Wednesday.

The Warhawks (11-2) rolled to a 50-34 halftime lead.


Dana Thompson scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to pace the Warhawks. Teammates Kaitlyn Thill, Megan Theune, a Whitewater High graduate, and Jamie Swanson scored 11 points apiece.


Whitewater hosts UW-River Falls at 6 p.m. Saturday.
