UW-Rock County Rattlers fall to Waukesha

— UW-Rock County suffered an 87-59 loss to host UW-Waukesha in nonconference men’s junior college basketball Wednesday.

The Rattlers held the early lead but did not maintain the momentum and trailed 41-26 at the half.


“They got better, and we got worse,” Rattlers’ coach Scott Lee said.


Gabe Mitchell scored 14 points to lead UW-Rock. Andy Hanus added 12 points and Jordan Conway chipped in 11.


UW-Rock’s women’s and men’s team travel to UW-Marinette for games at 1 and 3 p.m. respectively.
