Rock County corn growers may benefit from a "green" initiative by NASCAR.
Rock County farmer, and Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board member Randy Hughes, says NASCAR plans to use a corn based ethanol fuel mix in the organization's racing cars. Hughes says the decision could increase demand, and with three ethanol production facilities in the area, this could improve prices for local farmers.
Hughes says NASCAR's decision puts ethanol in a good light.
