Burlington completes Lakes run, other scores

Burlington High completed its undefeated run through the Southern Lakes Conference schedule by beating visiting Delavan-Darien, 70-48, Thursday night.


Travis Crayton led the Demons (15-0, 21-2) with 27 points, including five three-pointers. Russ Robers added 10 points.


Marcus McLin led the Comets (1-14, 2-21) with 17 points. Justin Fowlkes added 11.

Poggensee sank five three-pointers—four in the third—as Elkhorn outscored Badger, 25-19, in the quarter after both teams struggled to score in the first half.


Kyle Hoskins added 15 points for the Elks.


Will Swanson led Badger with 13 points, and Bobby Lamparek added 12.
