Dustin Schindler scored 15 points to help Waterford High knock off host Elkhorn, 57-49, in Southern Lakes Conference boys basketball Friday night.


The Wolverines (12-7, 10-2) rallied from a 14-7 first-quarter deficit.


Zach Fischer, Joe Sturino and Steve Balint added 10 points apiece for Waterford.


Brock Poggensee scored 15 points for the Elks (10-11, 7-6), and teammates Kyle Hoskins and Ryan Bowes scored 12 points apiece.

n Burlington 70, Wilmot 58—Burlington overcame a 27-19 deficit after the first quarter to defeat visiting Wilmot and clinch a tie for the Southern Lakes championship.


The Demons (18-2, 12-0) can lock uop the undisputed title aainst the second-place Wolverines tonight at Waterford.


Burlington closed to within 38-36 by halftime against Wilmot. The Demons took command with an 18-8 third quarter.


Eric Gerber led Burlington with 20 points. Travis Crayton scored 17 points, and Gabe Chavarria added 12 points in the win.


Brandon Schattner led Wilmot (4-8, 4-14) with 11 points, and Chris Nelson added 10 points for the Panthers.

n Badger 56, Union Grove 51—The Badgers sank three three-point baskets in the third quarter en route to a 19-10 advantage and a 44-40 lead in a Southern Lakes upset of visiting Union Grove.


Mike McBride scored five of his 10 points in the fourth quarter to keep Badger (3-17, 3-9) in the lead.


Colton Andresen scored 16 points for Badger and teammate Will Swanson added 12 points.


Joe Bianchi scored 16 points for Union Grove (11-9, 6-6) Matt Wolff added 15 points and Brett Van Vreede chipped in 10 points.

n Westosha 55, Delavan-Darien 50—Delavan-Darien fell behind 21-7 in the first quarter, then rallied but fell short in a Souther Lakes loss to Westosha Central.


The visiting Comets (2-19, 1-12) got with three points twice in the fourth quarter, but couldn’t get any closer. Justin Fowlkes scored 12 of his 17 points in the final quarter, and Marcus McLin added seven of his 19 in the period when the Comets outscored Westosha 24-18.


Senior guard Austin Damaschke led the Falcons (9-10, 6-6) with 21 points, including three three-pointers. Westosha made 13 of 19 free throws in the final quarter to survive the Comets’ rally.
