Jets win in a shootout

— Derek Jacobson’s shootout goal was the difference Friday night for the Janesville Jets.

In a scoreless regulation and overtime game, Jacobson scored the last of Janesville's three goals in the shutout to give the Jets a 1-0 NAHL win at the Janesville Ice Skating Center.


Janesville, which remained in second place in the NAHL North Division, also got shootout goals from Larkin Jacobson and John Houston.


Tony Kujava made 29 saves in goal to pick up the win, including a stop of Brad Chapman on the Warriors' final shootout attempt.


The two teams wrap up the three-game series tonight at the Ice Skating Center at 7.
