WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on State Senator Tim Cullen's concerns

RSS

State Senator Tim Cullen of Janesville tells WCLO's Dan Conry Show most of the pages of the Republican Governor's budget repair bill have nothing to do with balancing the current budget.

The Democrat says only provisions for a bond issue, and requiring state workers to increase payments to their health care and pensions make an immediate impact. Cullen says the speed of the process is also unheard of in his experience.

Cullen says the non-fiscal items could wait to be introduced until the governor lays out his next two year budget.
