-- IDENTITY THEFT, reported at 12:26 p.m. Thursday at M&I Bank, 100 N. Main St., Janesville. The victim's purse had been stolen, and someone made several withdrawals in her name at the bank. A suspect in the case is suspected in similar incidents at other M&I branches in Wisconsin and Illinois, according to the report.
-- ST. WILLIAM CHURCH PARKING LOT, 1815 RAVINE ST., JANESVILLE, at 7:54 p.m. Sunday. A pickup truck driven by Patrick Rebout, 16, of 5606 W. Mineral Point Ave., Janesville, collided with pedestrian Sharon L. Kumlien, 73, of 1124 Sue Lane, Milton. Police said the parking lot was dark, and Rebout's vision was obstructed by another vehicle. No citations were reported. A spokeswoman for Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, said the family had asked that Kumlien's condition not be released.
-- PLYMOUTH CHURCH AND EMERSON ROADS, PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. A vehicle driven by Jeffrey S. Larsen Sr., 55, of 6417 S. Emerson Road, Beloit, was northbound on Emerson and stopped at the stop sign. Larsen then continued north into the intersection to make a U-turn when he struck a westbound vehicle driven by Joan P. Burki, 47, of 13760 W. Speich Road, Orfordville. Burki was treated and released at Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit. Larsen was cited for an illegal U-turn.
-- HIGHWAY 26 NORTH OF KLUG ROAD, MILTON TOWNSHIP, at 9:50 a.m. Saturday. A southbound vehicle driven by Alvin A. Bartz, 65, Lake Mills, began fishtailing on ice and spun counterclockwise across both lanes, striking a guardrail along the east shoulder. Bartz was cited for failure to keep the vehicle under control. Bartz and a passenger, Karen S. Bartz, 57, Lake Mills, were treated at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, and released.
