Warhawks roll past Blugolds

Chris Davis continues to pile up the points for UW-Whitewater’s men’s basketball team.


The junior and Madison East High School graduate scored 25 points Saturday to lead the Warhawks to an 85-68 WIAC win over visiting UW-Eau Claire.


Davis, who came into the game averaging 20.1 points per game, also added a game-high eight rebounds.


Whitewater (15-8, 8-6) went on an early 20-3 run and led


52-24 at halftime.


Cody Odegaard added 16 points for the Warhawks, while D.J. Dantzler chipped in 13.


Amadou Fofana led the Blugolds (9-14, 3-11) with 18 points.
