— Burglary and theft charges against Michael D. Moulster have been dismissed by the Walworth County District Attorney's Office.

Moulster, 35, was charged in mid-January with illegally taking five gambling machines from the Jersey Tavern in Troy Township.

According to a statement released Tuesday from the prosecutor's office: "After further investigation by the Walworth County Sheriff's Department, it was determined that Mr. Moulster was in fact given permission to enter the establishment and to take the gambling machines. Because Mr. Moulster did not commit any crime, we dismiss the complaint against him.

"He should be presumed innocent of any wrongdoing in this case. It is the opinion of the state that he did not commit this crime."
