Middleton makes 13 three-pointers in win, other scores

Middleton High School’s girls basketball team warmed up for Saturday night’s clash at Janesville Craig by having a three-point shooting contest.


The Cardinals made 13 three-point baskets in cruising past Sun Prairie, 72-23, in a Big Eight Conference game.


Third-ranked Middleton improved to 15-1 overall and 12-0 in the conference.


Kirsten Gunderson and Mika Passini had 13 points each to lead the Cardinals, while Mikayla Yentz had 11 to lead Sun Prairie (3-11, 2-10).
