— Lake Geneva schools were back in session Tuesday after an e-mailed bomb threat cut classes short Monday.

A detective at the Lake Geneva Police Department said nothing was found in five schools that were searched with dogs. An email sent to the district at 9:03 a.m. Monday claimed a bomb was located at Badger High School and other schools, according to a press release.

Lake Geneva School District officials ordered the evacuation of the high school, along with Lake Geneva Middle School, Eastview Elementary School, Central Denison and Star Center.

Students were dismissed beginning at 10:30 a.m., and parents were told they would receive notification later that day on when classes would resume.

Police still are investigating the case. Lake Geneva police asked the FBI to assist in the case, but no further details were available.
