— An Albany man is in good condition, and no propane was spilled after a car versus semitrailer truck crash Thursday night.

Charmin Stevens, 44, Albany, was driving his 2001 Pontiac Aztek east on Highway 14 in Janesville Township west of Janesville, according to a news release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office. Stevens’ car crossed the centerline near Harvest View Road and struck the rear tires of a semitrailer truck hauling propane.

A Rock County deputy came upon the crash at 8:23 p.m., and the Highway was closed between Burdick Road and Polzin Road until 9:47 p.m., according to the release.

Stevens was in good condition Friday at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.

No propane was spilled, according to the release. The accident remains under investigation, but neither alcohol nor speed appear to be factors.
