Blumer, Westrick power Red Hawks

The duo of Morgan Blumer and Liz Westrick was too much for Elkhorn in nonconference girls basketball action Thursday night.


Blumer and Westrick each scored 20 points to lead Milton to a 73-42 victory on the Red Hawks' homecourt.


Westrick scored 14 points and Blumer 12 in the first half when the Red Hawks built a 37-22 lead. Stephanie Stair added 10 points as Milton improved to 3-2.


Emily Schahczinski had 15 points to lead the Elks (2-4).
