— The Rock County Fury co-op girls high school hockey team lost Tuesday, 7-0, to Stoughton.

Vikings’ goal keeper Kenzie Torpy made 24 saves to pocket the shutout.

“Their goalie did a nice job,” Fury coach Darrel Moore said. “We got some quality chances.’’

Moore said Ashley Mauerman of Beloit Turner played well on defense, while Chelsea Gusk of Janesville Craig and Morgan Jones of Clinton also made strong contributions.

Rock County hosts Beaver Dam on Thursday at the Janesville Ice Arena.
