Lake Geneva Badger takes over first

Lake Geneva Badger’s girls basketball team took over sole possession of first place in the Southern Lakes Conference Tuesday night.


Emma Kopp scored 23 points, including six three-point baskets, to lead the Badgers to a 57-43 win over Westosha Central.


Badger (4-2, 3-0) built a 34-19 halftime lead.


Abbie Reeves had 22 points for Westosha (2-5, 1-2).
