— Baraboo defeated Rock County, 7-5, in girls hockey play Saturday.

Rock County fell to 2-10.

“We continue to give up pucks to the opponent in our zone, which results in easy scoring chances,” said Fury coach Darrel Moore. “We have to get more disciplined with the puck. This is the second game in a row where we out shot our opponents and lost.”

Haley Bayreuther led the Fury with two goals.

“Haley Bayreuther is proving to be one of the best forwards in the state,” Moore said. “She had a lot of amazing plays today.

“Our girls play hard,” Moore said. “Our minds have to be just as sharp.”
