— Beloit College trailed 50-14 at the half Monday enroute to a 79-49 loss to Carthage College in nonconference women’s basketball.

The visiting Buccaneers (3-6) made four of 22 shots (18 percent) in the first half. Carthage (7-2) made 19 of 32 (59 percent) basket attempts.


Kandace Fox scored 16 points for Beloit to tie Carthage’s Cailee Corcoran for high-scoring honors.
