The Rock County Fury girls high school co-op hockey team lost a shootout Thursday night.

Rachel Dvorak’s goal with 45 seconds left lifted Stoughton to an 8-7 win over the Fury.

Rock County (2-5) trailed 4-1 in the second before tying the game on goals from Ashley Mauerman, Haley Bayreuther and Karie Harrington.

Shando Roeming had four goals for Stoughton, while Chelsea Gusk scored twice for Rock County.

“We keep coming out flat at the beginning of the game,” Rock County coach Darrel Moore said. “Our girls have to come out with intensity right away or we’re going to continue to find ourselves in the same situation that we got into tonight.”
