Police find hundreds of child pornography files
JANESVILLE Rock County sheriff's detectives found more than 600 files containing child pornography on a Janesville man's computer during preliminary scans, according to a news release from the office.
Alan J. Mursa, 28, of 569 N. Pearl St., Janesville, was charged Friday with five counts of possession of child pornography. After executing a search warrant at Mursa's home, a detective Oct. 3 identified four videos with sexual images of children on Mursa's computer, according to authorities.
The computer hard drive as well as several others have been sent to the Wisconsin State Crime Lab for further analysis, according to the release.
