Rock County

-- A 20-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE MAN at 8:33 a.m. Sunday on a charge of third-degree sexual assault. He is accused of sexually assaulting a female during a party in the 3000 block of Northwest River Drive, Janesville.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- MICHAEL W. HALL, 36, 1317 Euclid Ave., Beloit, at 4 p.m. Tuesday at South Riverside Drive and East County Q, Beloit Township.


-- FORGERY reported at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3300 block of Milton Avenue, Janesville. A Janesville woman reported someone forged a check belonging to her that totaled $62.18.

-- IDENTITY THEFT reported at 10:47 a.m. Saturday by a male resident in the 17000 block of West Church Road, Brodhead. The resident claims a family member took his personal identifying information and used it to obtain utilities and loans.

-- WORTHLESS CHECK at La Esquinita grocery store, 401 W. Milwaukee St., Janesville, in November 2010, reported Tuesday. A check for $7,497 bounced. Police have not yet located the suspect.

Fire Calls

-- LP GAS LEAK at 3:22 p.m.Tuesday at 4740 W. Brown View Drive, Janesville. A tree fell on a residential 500-gallon LP tank, causing it to leak. Neighbors were advised of the situation and Rock County Sheriff’s Office deputies blocked off the road to incoming traffic. Lifting air bags were used by Janesville firefighters to move the large oak tree to allow a Milton Propane crew to remove the tank to an area where it could be fixed. The amount of product released is undetermined.

-- JEREMIAH M. CALKINS, 3238 Westminster Road, Janesville, operating while revoked, $201.

-- RICARDO CASTILLO-CRUZ, 425 Lily Drive, Madison, operating vehicle without insurance and speeding, $376.

-- NICHOLAS G. CHESEBRO, 1828 W. Avalon Road, Janesville, speeding, $201.

-- RYAN LANE CLARK, P.O. Box 851 Roscoe, Ill., operating while under the influence, $866.

-- KEVIN R. COATES, 509 Forest Glen Drive, Fontana, possession of controlled substance and OWI, $1,194. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding were dismissed.
