The Department of Transportation is planning to survey bridge quality on I-39/90 in Rock County Tuesday and Wednesday.

DOT spokesman Steve Theisen says the bridges need to be checked before expansion work can begin in 2015. Work crews will be halting traffic for about 15-20 minutes at a time for the work.

Northbound and southbound traffic from Manogue Road to County A will be affected Tuesday. Wednesday, lanes in both directions will be affected from East Knutson Road to Manogue Road. Work times will be between 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
