Parker named DDHS A.D.

— Kevin Parker, a Walworth Big Foot graduate who has had career in education since 1988, has been named Delavan-Darien High School's athletic director.

Parker succeeds Wayne Fell, who resigned to become the athletic director at Onalaska in western Wisconsin.

Parker, 48, graduated from UW-Whitewater with a mathematics major and library science minor. As a college athlete, he competed in soccer, tennis and wrestling.

While teaching at St. John's Military Northwestern Military in Delafield, Parker coached socceer, wrestling and tennis.

During a 21-year career at Ozaukee High School in Fredonia, Parker was a library media specialist, math teacher and principal, a position he held for eight years. He also coached soccer and wrestling.

Parker is the brother of Doug Parker, the former head football coach and athletic director and now assistant principal at Whitewater High.
