Man cuts his own throat, then cuts others'
None of the injuries was considered life-threatening, police said in a news release.
Police responded to a report of injured people at 3:49 a.m. Sunday at 162 S. Cherry St.
Police accuse Nathan L. Kropp, 30, of cutting his neck with a razor blade "after hearing voices in his head" and then cutting the necks of his girlfriend and their 4-year-old child.
The three were taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, where Kropp remained under police guard Sunday.
All three were expected to be released from medical treatment, police said.
Kropp is being held on a tentative charge of recklessly endangering safety with a domestic-violence enhancer.
A psychiatric evaluation will help determine where Kropp goes after his release from the hospital, police said.
Police said Kropp, his girlfriend and daughter were living with others at the Cherry Street address. It wasn't immediately clear how permanent that living arrangement was.
Online court records show a Baraboo address for Kropp when he got a speeding ticket in April.
Earlier online records going back to 2003 list a Reedsburg address.
Kropp's criminal history includes convictions for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and driving after revocation.
