Beloit Snappers drop fourth straight

— The downward spiral continues for the Beloit Snappers.

Beloit lost its fourth straight game Tuesday, falling 6-1 to the Kane County Cougars in Midwest League baseball at Pohlman Field.


Brett Eibner doubled twice and drove in two runs to lead Kane County’s eight-hit attack.


Trailing 1-0 in the third, Kane County took advantage of two Beloit errors to score three runs.


Adam Achter (3-5) suffered the loss despite giving up just one earned run in six innings.


The two teams play the third game in a four-game series at 7 p.m. today.
