— It’s that time of the year again.

The high school fall sports schedule begins this month, and that means it’s time for participating athletes to begin practice.

Reporting dates begin today as football players at Janesville Craig and Janesville Parker will pick up equipment this morning. Practices will begin after that.

Boys soccer and girls golf begin Monday, with girls swimming and girls tennis after that on Tuesday.

Craig’s athletic code meeting is 6:30 p.m. Monday in the school’s large auditorium. Parker’s is 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the school’s large auditorium. Freshmen and others who did not attend a code meeting during the 2010-11 school year must attend and be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Physical exam or alternate-year cards must be on file with the school’s athletic department before an athlete is permitted to participate.
