The conditions were less then ideal, but the Janesville Parker High boys track and field team remained undefeated in dual meets Tuesday.

The Vikings rolled past host Madison East, 88-53, in a Big Eight meet held in rainy conditions at Lussier Stadium to go to 3-0 in the Big Eight and 5-0 overall in duals.

On the girls’ side, Brecklyn Skaleski and Brooke King each won two events to lead the Vikings to a 92-48 win over the Purgolders.

Shawn Bohler led the way for the Parker boys with first-place finishes in the 300 intermediate hurdles (42.8) and triple jump (39-4), and a second-place finish in the 110 high hurdles.

Parker coach Joe Dye also praised the throwing of Max Monson, who won the discus with a toss of 133 feet, six inches.

Skaleski won the long jump and the triple jump, while King swept the 1,600 and 3,200 for the Vikings.

“Our performances, considering the conditions, were pretty good,” said Parker coach Dave Lehmann. “I think Brecklyn Skaleski in the jumps had a very, very special day. And Brooke King had a couple of wins.”

Ashley Hartwig (400), Miranda Slaback (800), Paige Demos (high jump) and Bethany Moen (discus) also recorded victories, as did Parker’s 400 and 800 relay teams.

Both Parker squads will compete in the Cougar Relays on Friday.
