WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on county clerk's plans for recount

RSS

Rock County Clerk Lori Stottler says the Government Accountability Board has ordered the local recount done by hand. This means staff and volunteers will go through 37,000 ballots individually.

The process will begin Wednesday morning under strict security at the county's expense. Stottler says she'd like to see the process done by Saturday, but isn't optimistic.

The results must be in the hands of the GAB by May 9th.

This recount isn't going to make any difference. Prosser will still be ahead because of what happened in Waukesha County. Kloppenburg isn't fooling anybody but herself.
