Janesville Craig wins Icebreaker title

— Tyler Woodman and Jordan Gagg each shot 79 to pace the Janesville Craig High School boys golf team to the Icebreaker tournament title Monday at the Bridges.

The Cougars finished with a 325 team score, three shots better than Madison Memorial (328). Janesville Parker finished eighth (373) in the nine-team tournament.


Ryne Clatworthy added an 82 and Jim Leute posted an 85 to round out Craig’s four best scores. For Parker, Dustin Richards carded an 85, Peyton Graham added a 92, Tyler Brossard fired a 96 and Taylor Braun carded 103.


Tyler Reinecke of Verona posted a 2-under-par 70 to earn medalist honors. Woodman and Gagg each tied for fifth.
