Job fairs offered in coming weeks

JANESVILLE — Three industry-focused job fairs will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 18; Thursday, April 21; and Monday, April 25, at the Rock County Job Center, 1900 Center Ave.

All three events will feature multiple local employers

recruiting for open positions. The job fair for manufacturing (and related) employers will be April 18, the health care (and related) employers fair on April 21 and all other industries fair on April 25. A list of participating employers will be made available in advance of each event.

Based on the number of people in the greater Rock County area who remain out of work or who are seeking better employment opportunities, a large turnout is expected.

The Job Center is seeking employers located within a 50-mile radius of Janesville who would like to participate.

The cost is $125 per employer, which includes one six-foot table and two boxed lunches. Additional tables and

boxed lunches, as well as electricity and wireless Internet access, are available for a nominal fee.
