Rock County Clerk Lori Stottler expects Thursday to be a busy day.

Top on the list of duties is a recount of the 45th Assembly District Primary race. Republican Jeff Klett requested the recount after losing to Amy Loudenbeck by just 19 votes. Stottler says plenty of rules go with the recount. She says no coats, brief cases, papers, pens, or drinks will be allowed in the recount area. She also plans to look for any anomalies. One issue could be the 177 photocopied ballots needed when the regular ballots ran out election day. These will need to be hand counted while the other more than 6000 ballots will be counted by machine.

The recount is expected to last all day.
