Beloit bank robbery suspect at large

The Beloit Police Department is investigating a weekend bank robbery at Blackhawk State Bank on Cranston Road.

Officials say the suspect entered the bank shortly after 10am Saturday, demanded money from the teller, then after receiving the money fled on foot. The suspect implied he had a weapon, but did not display one.

He's described as a white male, in his mid to late 20s, 5'7" tall, with a narrow strip beard. At the time of the robbery, he was waering a black New York Yankees cap, a two-tone gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and clear safety glasses.
