Nate Hammon threw for three touchdowns and rushed for two others Friday night as Milton High rolled over visiting Stoughton, 41-15, in the Badger South football opener for the host Red Hawks.


Hammon hit Steve Biermeier, Sam McCann and Collin Sayre on scoring passes, and rushed for scores covering 2 and 13 yards as Milton went to 2-2 for the season.


Hammon completed 15 of 19 passes for 203 yards. Riley Kovars had four catches for 85 yards.


Sayre, who also scored on a 25-yard run, finished with 121 yards on 23 carries.


Milton opened a 35-0 lead with 8:30 left in the third quarter.


Stoughton fell to 0-2 and 2-2 after starting the season at 2-0.

n Fort Atkinson 27, Monroe 14—Joey Scott scored two touchdowns to help Fort Atkinson end a number of long losing streaks.


Scott scored on runs of 1 and 8 yards as the Blackhawks broke a 16-game losing streak to Monroe and a 13-game losing streak in Badger Conference play.


The conference victory was the first for a Blackhawk team in football, boys basketball and baseball since Fort rejoined the Badger in 2008.


Scott carried 37 times for 168 yards to help Fort (1-3, 1-1) build a 30:09 to 17:51 advantage in time of possession.


Ian Brady also contributed with field goals of 30 and 32 yards and three extra points. Fort built a 27-0 lead and dropped the Cheesemakers to 0-2 in the league and 0-4 overall.
