Fall River (1-3, 1-1) broke away from an 8-6 second-quarter advantage to down host Williams Bay High School, 39-6, in Trailways Small Conference football Friday night.


Big plays hurt the Bulldogs, who fell to 0-2 in the Trailways and 0-4 overall. C.J. Vanderwerff caught touchdowns passes of 80 and 38 yards from Kyle Marks, while Marks went 55 yards for Fall River’s final score.


In addition, Kevin Zander had a 48-yard scoring run, and Deon Robins scored from 33 yards out.


Jeremiah Pantojas scored on a four-yard run for the Bulldogs’ only score. Warren Clement caught four passes for 42 yards.
