-- ADOLPHOUS V. CRAWFORD, 43, of 620 Chestnut St., Lower Apt., Janesville, at 7:18 p.m. Sept. 6 at his residence on charges of substantial battery. Crawford is accused of throwing a Janesville man off of a porch. A condition report for the man injured was not available.


-- BURGLARY reported at 11:14 p.m. Sunday at Humane Manufacturing, 1350 Venture Dr., Janesville. Reported stolen were a Dell laptop, a Sony digital camera, a two-way radio and two vending machines valued at $2,180.

-- BURGLARY reported at 12:10 a.m. Sunday to a residence in the 700 block of Edison Avenue. Reported stolen were video game systems and a laptop, valued at $1,060.

-- BURGLARY reported at 8:33 p.m. Sept. 5 to a residence on West County A, Evansville. Reported stolen was $600 in cash.

-- BURGLARY reported at 7:20 p.m. Sept. 6 to a residence on Lima Center Road, Whitewater.

--?FORGERY reported at 10:36 a.m. Monday in the 2600 block of Humes Road, Janesville. Three checks totaling $14,775.75 were reported altered and forged.

Intoxicated Driving Arrests

-- ELISE R. CHAPMAN, 43, of 1325 Josephine St., Janesville, at 1:08 a.m. Tuesday, at South Franklin and West Van Buren streets, Janesville.

-- GARY S. KRANTZ, 57, of 5122 E. Monarch Circle, Beloit, at 6 p.m. Friday at Highway 213 west of County H, Plymouth Township.

-- RYAN N. FERRO, 27, of 9373 Auburn Road, Winnebago, Ill., at 12:38 a.m. Monday at Highway 11 west of County G, La Prairie Township. It was reportedly his second offense.

-- DEBORAH L. KLEIN, 56, of 6219 S. Highway 51, No. 1142, Janesville, at 10 p.m. Sept. 8. at her residence.


-- NELSON AND HAFEMAN ROADS, Spring Valley Township, at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, a car driven by Jeremy B. Argue, 17, of 1705 King St., Janesville, lost control on a hill and entered a ditch, where it struck a tree, rolled and caught on fire. Two passengers, Tyler S. Craft, 21, of 1901. W. 8th Ave., Brodhead, and Catlin C. Wiese, 22, of 408 2nd St., Brodhead, were ejected. Argue, Craft and Wiese were treated and released at Mercy Hospital, Janesville. Argue was cited for causing injury by reckless driving.
