— The Jefferson County level "B" hazmat team is working to mitigate a chemical leak at one of the two Spacesaver plants in Fort Atkinson.

Around 100 employees of the company were evacuated around 5:12 Tuesday morning when they discovered a cleaning agent leaking from a storage tank at the main production facility at 1700 Janesville Avenue. It's not known how much of the solvent leaked.

Seven employees were taken to Fort Atkinson Hospital for observation and then released after treatment for minor skin irritation. Officials at the plant are expected to release more information later today.

Spacesaver manufactures mobile storage and filing systems.
