Improved highway between Janesville and I-43 studied

In 2003, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation began studying potential improvements to the US 14/WIS 11 Corridor between Janesville and I-43 near Darien.


A wide range of potential improvement alternatives was identified to meet the needs of the study. Public hearings in Janesville and Darien were held this week. The alternatives, ranging from no-build to four-lanes, will be carried forward for further analysis.


Public hearings on these options are planned for next summer.
