Janesville Parker tennis dominates Sun Prairie
JANESVILLE Janesville Parker High School rolled to a 6-1 victory over host Sun Prairie in Big Eight Conference girls tennis here Tuesday.
Parker improved to 2-1 in the Big Eight.
“We played pretty well, but we can improve,” Parker coach Justin Long said. “We played down to some of our opponents. That’s why they went three sets.’’
The Vikings and Janesville Craig meet at Palmer Park at 4:15 p.m. Thursday. Craig’s match at Middleton on Tuesday was rained out.

Doubles—Maddie Theisen-Kristin Zielinger (JP) def. Kelli Sobczak-Emily Floyd, 6-1, 6-0; Kim Amundson-Danielle Boyd (JP) def. Heather Sadowski-Lizzy Miller, 3-6. 6-2, 6-1. Melenie Whitescarver-Gretchen Genrich (JP) def. Chelsea Keel-Nikki Enger, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
