— Police arrested a Janesville woman Saturday night after a robbery at Slantrax Video, 203 Center Ave., according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department.

Freya R. Graf, 34, Janesville, was arrested on a charge of armed robbery, damage to property and resisting an officer, the release states.

A robbery was reported at 8:36 p.m. on Janesville's near west side. A woman entered the store and robbed the clerk of the cash register drawer and the clerk's purse. The woman did not display a gun but implied she had one, the release states.

Witnesses reported seeing a woman running south from the business. Police, using the department's K-9 unit, found the woman hiding behind a house in the 900 block of Van Buren Street.

The woman would not obey a police officer's commands and therefore was bitten by the police dog.

The items taken from Slantrax Video were recovered. The incident remains under investigation.
