— A reward fund has been set up for information leading to the arrest of suspects in a series of hate crimes in Whitewater and on the U.W. Whitewater campus.

John Tincher of Tincher Realty set up the fund at the Commercial Bank of Whitewater and at First Citizens State Bank of Whitewater.

The incidents involved verbal and physical abuse and property damage. U.W. Whitewater Chancellor, Richard Telfer, says he will not tolerate this type of behavior, and all types of diversity is respected on campus and in the community.

U.W. Whitewater Chief of Police, Matt Kiederlen, says they're continuing the investigation but have no suspects at this time.
