— Savannah Shepler had Lodi on the run here Friday night as Janesville Parker High School’s girls soccer team raced to a 5-1 nonconference victory.

Shepler had a hat trick and added an assist to her three goals. Sam Witek also scored twice and had an assist in helping the Vikings (2-16) get their second win of the season.

“Sam’s an extremely talented dribbler and did an impressive job of getting by people today,” Parker coach Amy Wargowski said. “It was fun to watch.”

The Vikings hope to continue their fun Thursday when they begin WIAA Division 1 regional tournament play with a 6:30 p.m. game at Kenosha Tremper.
