Home searches net drug arrests

Local law enforcement continues to investigate drug trafficking related to several arrests made Thursday after homes were searched in Janesville and Harmony Township.


The Janesville Police Department searched homes at 1404 Highland Ave., 1407 Frederick Ave., 116 N. Pine St. and 303 N. Terrace St. during an investigation in to illegal drugs, according to a police department news release.


The investigations started after neighborhood residents, patrol officers and school resource officers gave information to drug investigators, according to the police department. Investigators seized prescription drugs, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and money during the searches.


Arrested were:


- Andre D. Crockett, 38, of 115 Madison St., Janesville, on four charges of delivery of cocaine and one charge of party to delivery of cocaine.


- Ieem L. Curry, 29, of 1919 Tamarack Lane, Janesville, on three charges of delivery of cocaine.


- Vincent A. Coe, 56, of 312 E. Memorial Drive, Janesville, on two charges of delivery of cocaine and two charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place.


- Tina M. Forrett, 52, of 303 N. Terrace St., Janesville, on a charge of possession of marijuana.


- Amy Jo Mathews, 29, of 303 N. Terrace St., Janesville, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.


- Amber M. Gorniak, 19, 303 N. Terrace St., Janesville, on a charge of disorderly conduct.


- Mario Rice, 25, of 116 N. Pine St., Janesville, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation violation.


- Dawn M. Giese, 28, of 116 N. Pine St., Janesville, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.


- Nicholas J. Walker, 18, of 116 N. Pine St., Janesville, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.


In Harmony Township, investigators found 24 marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia and $900 in cash after searching a home, according to a Rock County Sheriff’s Office news release.


Sheriff’s office, Milton Police Department and Edgerton Police Department officials searched the home at 1021 N. Henke Road during an investigation in to drug trafficking, according to the sheriff’s office.


Arrested were:


- Johnny L. Roehl, 29, on charges of maintaining a drug house, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, manufacturing marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.


- Rachel L. Hanson, 23, on charges of maintaining a drug house, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.


- Travis J. Hanson, 22, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
