Snappers’ losing streak reaches seven

— The Beloit Snappers have fallen on hard times.

Thursday night at Quad Cities, the Snappers managed only one hit in a 2-0 Midwest League loss to the River Bandits. Beloit has now lost seven straight games.

Quad Cities got the only run it needed in the bottom of the first.

Angel Hidalgo’s double was the only hit for Beloit.

Beloit begins a four-game series at Peoria tonight.
