Drought conditions in northern Wisconsin shouldn't worry fishing enthusiasts in Rock County.

DNR Fish Biologist Don Bush says unlike northern Wisconsin, Rock County is still feeling the effects of the 2008 flood. In northern Wisconsin, dozens of lakes are reportedly inaccessible, but in Rock County some smaller lakes are near record highs.

Bush says an advantage for anglers is, higher water levels translate into more room for fish to grow larger.
