WCLO's Steve Benton reports Beloit's Krueger municipal pool is opening for the Memorial Day weekend

RSS

— Beloit's Krueger municipal pool is opening a little early this year.

Recreation Supervisor, Spencer Waite, says the pool will be open May 29th through the 31st and then close down the following Monday through Friday. It will again be open, with some shorter hours, June 5th through the 11th and then the regular season begins June 12th. Waite ways they've started the season a little early for the past several years. Last year the weather on Memorial Day wasn't that great and few people came out to use the pool. This year the weather is supposed to be nicer and he's expecting a larger crowd.

The pool schedule can be found at the city's web site, www.ci.beloit.wi.us
