The Milton Junction Pub Raptors baseball team dropped a pair of weekend games to fall to 1-4 in the Rock River League.

On Saturday, Milton lost at home to Watertown, 6-2. On Sunday, the Raptors fell, 7-0, at three-time defending league champion Clyman.

"We're struggling to score runs, obviously," said Milton manager Doug Welch. "We've been getting good pitching, but we need to find a way to put runs on the board."

Milton matched Watertown with 11 hits, but the Cardinals put theirs to better use.

"In the Watertown game we were in it the whole way," Welch said. "We had opportunities to put up runs, but we left the bases loaded a couple of times."

Welch said there were more wasted scoring opportunities against Clyman.

"To their credit, they didn't walk anybody and made all the plays defensively," Welch said.

Milton plays at Neosho at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
