Raptors drop second straight
The Madison Senators scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning and held on for a 2-1 win.
Milton (1-2) took a 1-0 lead in the fourth on Steve Perkins’ RBI single, but the Senators took the lead with two unearned runs in the seventh.
Tom Klawitter was the tough-luck loser for the Raptors. The lefthander struck out 13 and did not allow an earned run.
Jarod Staudenmayer’s two-run single in the seventh proved to be the game-winner.
The Raptors will open the home portion of the schedule by hosting Watertown at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
On Sunday, the Raptors play at three-time defending champion Clyman.
