Middleton sweeps Craig, Parker golfers

— Middleton High School ruled Riverside to sweep Janesville Craig and Janesville Parker in Big Eight Conference boys golf Monday.

The league-leading Cardinals posted a 308. Craig carded a 338, and Parker carded a 349.

“They have a solid eight guys,” Craig coach Domanic Weigel said of the Cardinals.

Mitch Johnson fired a par 72 (37-35) to lead Middleton and collect medalist honors. Tanner Woodman fired an 81 to pace Craig, while Peyton Graham carded an 82 to lead Parker.
