A Janesville man is in custody on two charges of first degree murder.

Rockford Deputy Police Chief Greg Lindmark says Michael and Christa Clark were found shot to death in their home shortly after 2 AM Monday morning. A neighbor notified police and told officers a child had come to their home and said there was a possible shooting at 2108 21st Street.

The Clarks had a seven-year-old and an 18-month-old. They were unharmed. 26-year-old Alexander Castillo of Janesville was first taken into custody on a charge of operating after revocation of his driver's license. He was arrested early Monday afternoon on Milton Avenue in Janesville. Lindmark says Rockford Police interviewed Castillo in Janesville before taking him into custody on the murder charges.
